A delicate lace, somewhat similar to Alencon, except that the designs are most often fine floral or vine motifs. Chantilly is a popular lace for bridal veils. It was first made in the French city of Chantilly.
Lace fabric is decorative ‘openwork’ fabric with sensitive uses of spaces and solids. It is a classic, feminine fabric that looks beautiful in both day and evening wear.
